First Republic Bank announced that David Loeb has joined First Republic Investment Management. Loeb was named Managing Director and Wealth Manager. He will provide portfolio management, retirement planning, investment consulting and other wealth management services to individuals, families, nonprofits and private family foundations.

Loeb has more than 28 years of wealth management experience providing customized wealth management solutions for entrepreneurs, CEO's, partners in private equity and hedge fund firms, and ultra high net worth families. Before joining First Republic, he was a Wealth Advisor and Executive Director at J.P. Morgan Wealth Management. Prior to that, Loeb was a First Vice President in Investment and Institutional Accounts at Morgan Stanley.

He is active in his local community and has served on the Board of Jewish Board of Family and Children's Services and served as a mentor at The Rita J. and Stanley H. Kaplan House in New York City. Loeb has also spent many years as a baseball and soccer coach. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science, with a minor in Economics, from New York University.
