FlatexDEGIRO: further revenue growth in Q3
Driven by higher commission and interest income, revenues rose by 10.1% year-on-year to 111.7 million euros (Q3 2023: 101.4 million euros).
Based on the figures for the first nine months, with net income more than doubling to 85.7 million euros (9M 2023: 40.6 million euros), the company has reaffirmed its target of achieving net income at the upper end of forecasts, i.e. up to 108 million euros for the current financial year.
This corresponds to a growth rate of 50% compared with the 71.9 million euros achieved in 2023.
As far as revenues are concerned, which rose by 21.6% to 353.4 million euros in the first nine months, flatexDEGIRO expects even higher single-digit growth than the previously communicated forecast of 15%.
Benon Janos, Deputy Managing Director and CFO of flatexDEGIRO, commented: 'flatexDEGIRO once again demonstrated a very strong operational performance in the third quarter, with all key profit figures continuing to exceed prior-year levels. We are very confident about the final quarter of the year and continue to forecast a record year for flatexDEGIRO, during which we aim to increase our net income to 108 million euros, a 50% improvement on the previous year. '
