FLC Joint Stock : Grand Hotel Samson’s official opening ceremony

On 20th August 2017, FLC Group held the opening ceremony for FLC Grand Hotel Samson - a part of FLC Samson Beach & Golf Resort in Thanh Hoa province, Vietnam.

The event was joined by officials from several governmental agencies such as the Politburo, Ministry of Planning and Investment, Vietnam Television, Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, Voice of Vietnam, Ministry of Justice, as well as officials from Thanh Hoa's provincial committee.

In addition, officials from other provinces such as Hanoi, Hai Phong, Quang Ninh, Vinh Phuc, Thai Binh, Nghe An, Ha Tinh… were also invited to the ceremony.

From FLC Group, there was Mr. Trinh Van Quyet - Board Chairman.

The new pride of Samson's tourism

As another proof of FLC Group's will and determination, FLC Grand Hotel Samson was opened after only 10 months of construction.

'We were honestly amazed by the construction speed of FLC Group. This is not only a surprise for us but also a great joy for tourists coming to Samson in the future', said Mr. Vuong Duy Bien, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

In order for Vietnam to make tourism a key industry, government authorities as well as the people and businesses all have to contribute.

Mr. Vuong Duy Bien, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, spoke at the ceremony.

'I hope that FLC Group, after having chosen this path, will continue to contribute even more to Vietnam's tourism industry', Mr. Vuong Duy Bien said.

Plans for 5-star standard certification

Speaking at the ceremony, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thin, Deputy Chairman of Thanh Hoa's provincial people's committee, affirmed that, with 8 trillion VND already invested and 10 trillion VND to come with future projects, FLC Group is considered a strategy investor in Thanh Hoa province, helping to paint a new face for the tourism industry especially in Samson city.

'In order to fully exploit the local tourism potentials, FLC Group should immediately complete their proposal to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism for the 5-star certification of FLC Grand Hotel Samson', Ms. Nguyen Thi Thin emphasized.

Present at the ceremony were officials from governmental authorities and FLC Group's directors.

Also speaking at the event, Ms. Huong Tran Kieu Dung, Deputy Chairwoman of FLC Group, said that three years of working closely with the land and people of Thanh Hoa province was an emotional journey for FLC Group.

Local and state officials, FLC Group and the hotel management carried out the opening routine for FLC Grand Hotel Samson.

More than 2,000 guests were amazed at the magnificent showcase of music and lights as well as fireworks over the 15-floor FLC Grand Hotel Samson.

Previously, on August 18th, thousands of local people and tourists came to the hotel and Hubway sites on Ho Xuan Huong street to participate in the 'Make it Grand' festival. This series of events included several artistic performances, pool party, music liveshow with Hong Nhung, Tan Minh, Tung Duong, My Tam, fashion show, flashmob, as well as ocean cleaning with beauty queens…

Most importantly, this was the opportunity for people to witness the impressive architecture of FLC Samson's new constructions.

FLC Grand Hotel Samson is situated at the heart of FLC Samson Beach & Golf Resort, with 588 modern hotel rooms, equipped with 5-star facilities. The launch of this new hotel will bring the total number of hotel rooms in Thanh Hoa province to 22,000 rooms - the sixth highest number in the country.
