Simatek A/S completed the acquisition of Filter Technology Business of FLSmidth & Co. A/S.

Simatek A/S entered into an agreement to acquire Filter Technology Business of FLSmidth & Co. A/S (CPSE:FLS) on December 22, 2020. Under the terms, as a part of the transaction, FLSmidth will retain its core AFT operations which continue to be key in the delivery of FLSmidth's MissionZero strategy while the acquisition will allow Simatek to gain scale widen its product portfolio and enhance its filter technology. FLSmidth and Simatek have also entered into a cooperation agreement under which Simatek will supply FLSmidth with fabric filters and FLSmidth will become a supplier of filter bags and filter cages to Simatek. Kromann Reumert acted as legal advisor to FLSmidth & Co. A/S.
