Flughafen Zürich : Staff-related changes in Corporate Communication

In March 2022, there will be a change in the Corporate Communication team at Flughafen Zürich AG. Media Spokesperson Raffaela Ackermann, who has worked for the company for several years, will leave in mid-March. She joined the media team in 2015 after having worked as an intern in 2013. In addition to her role as Media Spokesperson and deputy to the Head of Corporate Communications, she was also responsible for all communications relating to the large project The Circle and for the company's commercial topics. After her trip around the world, Raffaela Ackermann will take up a new challenge outside the company.

Elena Stern took up her role as Media Spokesperson in the media team on 1 February 2022. After completing her Bachelor's degree in communications and media studies at the University of Zurich, she worked in the Corporate Communications department of Swiss International Air Lines since 2018, including as Media Spokesperson and in the strategic communication area. At the same time, she pursued her elite sport career in curling, which she ended in 2021. She is very familiar with Zurich Airport and the aviation industry and is thus the ideal addition to the media team.

Besides Elena Stern, the other members of the media team are Head of Corporate Communications Manuela Staub and media spokespersons Jasmin Bodmer-Breu and Bettina Kunz.
