CASH4CLUBS PROGRAMME

Local Sports Clubs Awarded £165,000 in Grant Funding To Help Manage Impact Of Covid-19

LONDON, December 16, 2020 - Flutter Entertainment plc (LSE: FLTR; EURONEXT: FLTR) has completed its annual Cash4Clubs charity campaign having this year donated £165,000 to over 100 grassroots sports schemes and clubs across the UK and Ireland.

The charity initiative invited all local sports clubs in the UK and Ireland to apply through the Cash4Clubs website, which is funded by Flutter Entertainment. This year, in recognition of the financial hardships clubs and communities faced as a result of Covid-19, Flutter increased the maximum grant available to each club from £1,000 to £5,000.

In total, 120 clubs received grants ranging from £500 to £5,000, enabling them to continue the important work they do to keep their communities active and together during and beyond the pandemic. The funding has been used for a range of club initiatives, including purchasing new equipment, improving club facilities and investing in qualified coaching.

Cash4Clubs was launched in 2008 and has so far supported clubs with over £515,000 in funding.

Sue Hammett, Group Head of CSR at Flutter Entertainment plc, commented: "Local sports clubs play a critical role across the UK and Ireland. They promote good health and wellbeing and act as a focal point for communities to gather around and support one another. In 2020, at a time when this role has been even more vital, many have suffered financially. We are proud to contribute to grassroots sports through Cash4Clubs and to help sustain these clubs well into the future."
