On January 26, 2019 Hosking Partners announced that it has written a letter to Flybe Group PLC to requisition an extraordinary general meeting (EGM) aimed at ousting Simon Laffin, the city grandee who has chaired the Company for 5 years. Further, Hosking stated that it wants to replace Simon Laffin with Eric Kohn.
