On March 31, 2023, Ford Motor Company announced that it has received shareholder proposal from The National Center for Public Policy Research, asking the Company to report to shareholders on the extent to which its business plans with respect to electric vehicles and their charging stations may involve, rely or depend on child labor outside the United States. In addition, the Company recommended the shareholders to vote against the proposal at the annual meeting of shareholders scheduled to be held on May 11, 2023.
