	Explanations

In our Material Disclosure dated 14 April 2021, it was announced that the ongoing issues in the global supply of semiconductors was compounded with the earthquake and fire in Japan, leading to additional supply issues. It had

therefore been decided to bring forward our annual routine summer shutdown and suspend production at our Gölcük plant from April 19 to June 13.

Further to the efforts of our main partner, Ford Motor Company, and the collaboration we carried out with our suppliers, it has been possible to reduce production downtime by one week. Production will start at our Gölcük Plant on June 7.

Meanwhile, the ongoing semiconductor supply shortage started to impact our Ford Trucks business. In order to prevent production volume loss for the year, it was decided to bring forward our annual routine summer shutdown at our Eskişehir plant and suspend engine production from May 31 to June 14 and truck production from May 31 to June 17.

Production will continue at our Yeniköy Plant.

The resulting production loss will be reduced by continuing production during the routine summer shutdown and the ramp up in production tempo in the following months, therefore, our total production and sales guidance for 2021 is expected to remain within the previously announced range.
