There has been news in the press regarding the joint production of commercial vehicles by Ford Motor Company, one of our main shareholders, and Volkswagen AG, in Kocaeli, Turkey.

Negotiations regarding the location of the joint production of 1-ton cargo van are still ongoing within the scope of the global alliance, which was initially announced by Ford Motor Company and Volkswagen AG in 2018. Simultaneously, discussions on the subject investment project are ongoing between our Company and Ford Motor Company with no concrete decisions yet taken.

Furthermore, the details pertaining to the investment mentioned in the news do not reflect the truth. Ford Otosan will make the requisite announcements as per the Capital Markets Board Communiqué on Material Events if and when an agreement is reached and a resolution has been issued by the Board of Directors.
