Forward Electronics Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the full year ended December 31, 2020. For the full year, the company announced sales was TWD 810.938 million compared to TWD 989.445 million a year ago. Operating loss was TWD 139.566 million compared to TWD 155.191 million a year ago. Net loss was TWD 74.356 million compared to TWD 141.948 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.47 compared to TWD 0.9 a year ago.
Forward Electronics Co Ltd is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the production and sales of optoelectronics products, information appliance peripheral products and electronic components. The Company's optoelectronics products include backlight modules, liquid crystal display (LCD) modules and light emitting diodes (LEDs). The Company's information appliance peripheral products include game consoles, vehicle anti-collision systems, financial terminal systems, computers, wireless sensing devices and others. Its electronic components consist of switches, variable resistors, bit generators, sensors and others. The Company also provides lighting products. The Company distributes its products within domestic market and to overseas markets.
