Forward Electronics Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2020. For the third quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 207.433 million compared to TWD 227.789 million a year ago. Operating loss was TWD 38.949 million compared to TWD 47.969 million a year ago. Net loss was TWD 33.191 million compared to TWD 58.588 million a year ago. Basic loss per share was TWD 0.21 compared to TWD 0.37 a year ago. For the nine months, sales was TWD 572.265 million compared to TWD 784.460 million a year ago. Operating loss was TWD 109.611 million compared to TWD 101.877 million a year ago. Net loss was TWD 94.498 million compared to TWD 65.624 million a year ago. Basic loss per share was TWD 0.6 compared to TWD 0.42 a year ago.
Forward Electronics Co Ltd is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the production and sales of optoelectronics products, information appliance peripheral products and electronic components. The Company's optoelectronics products include backlight modules, liquid crystal display (LCD) modules and light emitting diodes (LEDs). The Company's information appliance peripheral products include game consoles, vehicle anti-collision systems, financial terminal systems, computers, wireless sensing devices and others. Its electronic components consist of switches, variable resistors, bit generators, sensors and others. The Company also provides lighting products. The Company distributes its products within domestic market and to overseas markets.
