Fosun Ranks Fourth in "Hurun China Private Companies SDG Readiness 100"

(13 January 2022)Recently, the Hurun Research Institute released the "2021 Hurun China Private Companies SDG Readiness 100", listing 100 Chinese private companies that best meet the 17 sustainable development goals of the United Nations. Fosun International (00656) ranked fourth.

Among the 17 sustainable development goals formulated by the United Nations, Goal 1: No Poverty, Goal 5: Gender Equality and Goal 13: Climate Action. With 169 specific goals, these goals aim at comprehensively solving development problems in three dimensions - society, economy and environment - before 2030.

The survey scope of the recently published list spans companies in the "Hurun China 500 Most Valuable Private Companies." Sources include public information on enterprises and industries, such as annual reports and ESG reports (environmental, social and governance), CSR reports (corporate social responsibility) and SDG reports (sustainable development goals).
