The Department of Health has officially implemented electronic medical records systems for 10 hospitals throughout the nation, and among them 3 have been using the FPT.EMR solution developed by FPT IS: The Hai Phong International General Hospital, Vinh General Hospital, and Quang Ninh General Hospital.

This information was shared by Associate Professor Ph.D. Tran Quy Tuong, head of the Department of IT (Department of Health) at 2021 Summary and Implementation Meeting of the Vietnam Private Hospitals Associationwith the attendance of over 200 members.

The Hai Phong International General Hospital was the first, and only, private hospital among the 10 participating establishments who successfully implemented the replacement of physical medical records with electronic ones, aiming at a paperwork-free hospital model. It is rated at a 7 - the highest score in the implementation of information technology at medical facilities as per the regulations set by Circular 54 of the Department of Health.

Through the conveniences brought to patients, medical staff and hospital management, FPT.EMR is steadily establishing its quality and reliability fitting of a product 'Made by FPT', as well as FPT's strengths in digital transformation in the medical field.
