Fredonia Mining Inc. is a Canada-based company engaged in gold-silver exploration. The Company holds gold and silver licensed areas totaling approximately 18,300 hectares (ha) in the Deseado Massif geological region in the Province of Santa Cruz, Argentina. Its principal areas include its flagship, the advanced El Dorado Monserrat (EDM) project (approximately 6,200 ha) located close to AngloGold Ashantiâs producing multi-million Au-Ag Cerro Vanguardia mine2, the El Aguila project (approximately 9,124 ha), and the Hornia (Petrificados) project (about 3,000 ha). The EDM Project is located in an area of low rolling hills in the Deseado Massif of Santa Cruz Province. The EDM Project comprises two mineralized trends with multiple drilling targets. The El Aguila project is located about 70 kilometers (km) northeast of Cerro Vanguardia mine and 45 km west of Cerro Moro. The oldest rocks in the Hornia property are andesitic flows, volcanic breccias and tuffs from the Bajo Pobre Formation.
