Union workers at Freeport-McMoRan's Cerro Verde copper mine in Peru have agreed to end a 20-day strike and return to work on March 31, 2017. The decision came after a meeting between workers and the company mediated by the Peruvian labour ministry, in which the parties agreed on issues such as family health coverage and labour safety.
