Fresenius SE & Co. said Monday that its hospital-operating division Fresenius Helios has acquired fertility services provider Eugin Group at a valuation of 430 million euros ($527.1 million).

The German health-care company said the acquisition of the group--which consists of Luarmia SL and NMC Eugin US Corporation--is "expected to be highly accretive to group net income already in 2021". The company said it doesn't expect any meaningful intergration expenses as a result of the acquisition.

"Eugin Group will form a new and separate Fresenius Helios business and reporting unit alongside Helios Germany and Helios Spain," Fresenius said.

It said the purchase price will be financed from existing cash and credit lines.

The transaction is expected to close in the first half of 2021, pending regulatory approval.
