DENVER (AP) _ Frontier Group Holdings Inc. (ULCC) on Wednesday reported second-quarter net income of $13 million.

On a per-share basis, the Denver-based company said it had profit of 6 cents. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs, came to 9 cents per share.

The results met Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of four analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was also for earnings of 9 cents per share.

The discount airline posted revenue of $909 million in the period, topping Street forecasts. Four analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $858.2 million.
