Based in San Francisco, Dr. Bakunin brings over 20 years of experience in the mobility industry with a focus on electric vehicles, vehicle-to-grid ("V2G"), mobility-as-a-service and autonomous vehicles. "I am delighted that Michael has joined our growing team of renewables and energy transition experts," said Chris LeWand, a Senior Managing Director and Leader of the Power, Renewables & Utilities practice at FTI Consulting. "Michael's track record in helping both traditional automotive companies and emerging mobility players navigate the market will significantly enhance FTI's offering to clients in all aspects of the energy transition."

Commenting on his appointment, Dr. Bakunin said, "I am excited to utilize my skillset in mobility engagements alongside my colleagues on the Power, Renewables & Utilities team.
