FTI Consulting : ESG Expert Alanna Fishman Joins FTI Consulting as a Managing Director

Washington, D.C., June 15, 2021 - FTI Consulting, Inc. (NYSE: FCN) today announced that Alanna Fishman has been named a Managing Director within its Strategic Communications segment, where she will advise clients on the evolution of their environmental, social and governance ('ESG') strategies and how to effectively communicate with their stakeholders. She will report to Rodolfo Araujo, a Senior Managing Director and Head of the Corporate Governance & Activism team.

Ms. Fishman joins FTI Consulting from Cornerstone Government Affairs, where she led the firm's ESG practice. She brings significant experience advising boards of directors and leadership teams on ESG strategy, engagement and communications. She also led client service integration across Cornerstone's communications and government relations practices.

Ms. Fishman started her career as a project manager at IHS Markit, a global data and advisory company, implementing its SAP solution. She then joined Newmont Mining, the world's largest gold mining company, as a global business analyst, where she supported corporate environmental compliance due diligence, organizational change management and stakeholder engagement projects. Prior to joining Cornerstone, Ms. Fishman was the Director of Policy and Social Responsibility at HBW Resources, an energy-focused consulting firm.

Ms. Fishman holds a master's degree in global economics and energy from the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies ('SAIS'). While at SAIS, she customized the university's first ESG curriculum, and she continues her academic collaboration with SAIS as the program grows. A frequent speaker and author on ESG, Ms. Fishman routinely engages with institutions, students and professionals across a wide range of industries.
