Galaxy Entertainment Group Ltd. swung to a third-quarter loss on lower gaming revenue and visitation.

The casino operator said Tuesday that it swung to a loss of 943 million Hong Kong dollars ($121.6 million) from a HK$4.11 billion profit in the same period last year.

Revenue plunged 88% to HK$1.55 billion, the company said.

While China's individual visitor scheme has been reinstated, a majority of cities have only resumed applications in late September, the casino operator said.

Galaxy Entertainment said visitor numbers may only be boosted by the reinstatement of the visa scheme in the fourth quarter.

The casino operator is continuing the development and renovation of its properties, it said.
