Gamma Communications plc ("Gamma" or "the Group"), a leading provider of Unified Communications as a Service ("UCaaS") into the UK and European business markets announces that Andrew Taylor has notified the Board of his intention to retire from Gamma and will therefore step down from the Board and as Chief Executive Officer on the 4th July 2022 but will continue to work with Gamma in a supporting advisory role through to July 2023 when his notice period expires. This decision has been made for personal/family reasons and to enable Andrew to focus on developing his plural non-executive career.

Andrew Belshaw will step up from Deputy Chief Executive Officer to Interim Chief Executive Officer on 4th July 2022. Andrew Belshaw joined Gamma in 2007 and served as Chief Financial Officer since Gamma's IPO in 2014. Andrew was recently promoted to Deputy Chief Executive Officer as part of a structured plan to strengthen and broaden the scope and capacity of Gamma's management team. Alongside this appointment, Gamma also appointed Bill Castell as Chief Financial Officer.

Andrew Taylor has been Chief Executive Officer for over four years, during which time excellent progress has been made in Gamma's overall growth and strategic development as a business. This has been achieved through both the delivery of consistently strong organic growth and through targeted product development and acquisitions that have broadened Gamma's technology and product capabilities. At the same time, Gamma has successfully expanded into new geographical regions that will support the delivery of continued long-term profitable growth.

Gamma is making excellent progress against its growth strategy and is trading in line with the Board's expectations.

Richard Last, Chairman, commented:

"On behalf of everyone at Gamma, I'd like to place on record our thanks and appreciation to Andrew for his drive, dedication, and leadership over the past four years. He has played a key role in shaping Gamma's plans for future growth and leaves the business in an excellent position to continue to grow and develop and has helped create a first-class management team that is very well placed to take the business forward."

Andrew Taylor, commented:

"I'd like to wish everyone associated with Gamma all the very best in the times ahead. Gamma is a fantastic company which operates in an exciting growth market, and I've greatly enjoyed the past four years as Chief Executive Officer, which has seen Gamma evolve from being a UK focused telecommunications company to a European leader in Unified Communications. Having achieved a great deal and driven by a desire to spend more time with my family, now is a natural time for me to move on and I am very confident that the business and our management team at Gamma is very well placed to thrive in the times ahead."
