Keynote: Collective Unhiding: Diversity of Thought Is Critical for Business Innovation and Talent Retention

When people from diverse backgrounds and perspectives come together, their unique thoughts pave a path for innovation. In this session, Michelle Bazargan, Sr Director Advisory at Gartner, shared steps to drive diversity of thought that can foster business differentiation, talent engagement and retention.

Gartner Sr Director Advisory Michelle Bazargan tells the audience at the Gartner Infrastructure, Operations Management and Cloud Strategies Conference in London to rethink diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) and explore how diversity of thought can tackle their biggest challenges.

Gartner analysts shared four steps for leaders to enhance diversity of thought within their organization.

At the Gartner Infrastructure, Operations Management and Cloud Strategies Conference in London, Gartner Sr Director Advisory, Michelle Bazargan, told the audience: "Don't view people as a means to an end. Conscious leaders foster kindness, collaboration, and co-creation so that their people are seen, heard, and fulfilled."

  3. Create an Actionable Diversity and Inclusion Plan: Create learning loops and incremental agile plans versus long powerpoint promises.

  4. Develop and Execute a Continuous, Iterative One Page Plan: Put it on one page and commit to it.
