GE announces that GE Vernova's Financial Services business is to create a joint venture with Alfanar Energia España ('Alfanar') to develop renewable energy projects in Spain.
The joint venture will continue to develop Alfanar's existing 334-megawatt portfolio of assets, which includes five wind farms and three photovoltaic plants in Spain, and will seek to develop new opportunities in onshore wind and solar photovoltaics.
Battery and energy storage solutions will also be explored, GE says.
