GEM Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2021. For the first quarter, the company announced sales was CNY 3,729.914 million compared to CNY 2,292.324 million a year ago. Operating income was CNY 336.299 million compared to CNY 143.194 million a year ago. Net income was CNY 275.854 million compared to CNY 110.154 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was CNY 0.06 compared to CNY 0.03 a year ago.
GEM Co., Ltd. specializes in the recycling services for non-ferrous metals and secondary materials. The group provides recovery, treatment and recycling services for used batteries, waste electrical and electronic equipment (computer equipment, televisions, mobile phones, etc.) and special solid waste (cars, scrap metal, etc.). The group's products consist mainly of nickel, tungsten cobalt, and thermoplastic composites.
