GEM Services, Inc. announced earnings results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2019. For the third quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 931.738 million compared to TWD 903.103 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 199.280 million compared to TWD 290.697 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 1.54 compared to TWD 2.25 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share was TWD 1.53 compared to TWD 2.24 a year ago. For the nine months, sales was TWD 2,575.159 million compared to TWD 2,546.225 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 511.428 million compared to TWD 613.533 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 3.96 compared to TWD 4.75 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share was TWD 3.93 compared to TWD 4.72 a year ago.
GEM Services, Inc. is a Cayman Islands-based multinational semiconductor assembly and test contractor. The Company specializes in small-outline surface-mount packages for power management semiconductors. Its customers are semiconductor manufacturers who require both industry standard and advanced packaging solutions as part of their portfolio of value-added products for portable, battery-powered communications, computing systems, industry, and automobile applications. It operates two factories in Greater China: Shanghai, China; Hefei, China, which produces industry standard and advanced discrete, integrated circuits (IC) and multi-chip module (MCM) packages, including concepts co-developed with customers. The Companyâs products and services include packaging development, wafer processing, assembly services, electrical test, logistic services and reliability testing. Its electrical test includes discrete device electrical testing and analog and power IC electrical testing.
