  General Motors Co. will make drive systems for its electric vehicles. 


  The company said three motors and five interchangeable drive units are going to power the company's electric vehicles. GM is going to develop, design and make the motors and units. 


  "Ultium Drive" -- the company's name for these units and motors -- is going to help GM make its vehicle portfolio totally electric, GM said.
