Geniee, Inc. (TSE:6562) announces a share repurchase program. Under the program, the company will repurchase up to 350,000 shares, representing 1.94% of its issued share capital for ¥350 million. The purpose of the program is to strengthen shareholder returns and improve capital efficiency. The program is valid till August 15, 2022. As of June 30, 2021, the company had 18,048,061 shares issued (excluding treasury stock) and 139 shares in treasury.
Geniee, Inc. is a Japan-based company mainly engaged in the advertising technology businesses. The Company mainly provides three kinds of services. The advertising platform service provides GenieeSSP, a platform that provides services for Internet media operators, and GenieeDSP, a platform that provides services for advertisers and advertising network operators. The marketing automation service is engaged in the provision of MAJIN, a marketing automation platform, the provision of Chikyu, a cloud-type customer management and sales management system. The overseas service is engaged in the advertising platform business focused on GenieeSSP. The Company mainly provides services to local companies in Singapore, Vietnam, Indonesia, Thailand and India.
