Genius Electronic Optical Co., Ltd reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2022. For the third quarter, the company reported sales was TWD 7,176.82 million compared to TWD 5,918.92 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 1,728.96 million compared to TWD 975.12 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 15.34 compared to TWD 8.71 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 15.26 compared to TWD 8.67 a year ago.
For the nine months, sales was TWD 13,469.27 million compared to TWD 11,021.76 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 2,428.98 million compared to TWD 1,373.07 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 21.57 compared to TWD 12.27 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 21.45 compared to TWD 12.21 a year ago.
Genius Electronic Optical Co Ltd is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the manufacture and distribution of optical lens products and lighting products. The main products include optical lens, optical lenses and lighting products. The optical lens products are applied in traditional cameras, digital cameras, mobile phones and laptops. The optical lenses are applied in traditional cameras, digital cameras, optical mice, fingerprint readers and viewfinders. The lightening products are applied in lighting equipment such as flashlights, street lights and tunnel lights. The Company is also engaged in the provision of other products for injection molding molds and parts. The Company mainly distributes products in Taiwan and other Asian markets.
