GENTERA S.A.B. de C.V. reported non-audited consolidated financial results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2016. Net Income for the second quarter was MXN 1,054 million, a 55.0% increase compared with the net income of MXN 680 million achieved in second quarter of 2015. ROE stood at 29.5%, compared with 22.6% during second quarter of 2015. ROA reached 11.2%, compared with 8.7% in second quarter of 2015. NIM stood at 56.5%, compared with 58.4% in the second quarter of 2015.
Gentera SAB de CV (Gentera), formerly Compartamos SAB de CV, is a Mexico-based financial institution specialized in banking and credit services. Genteraâs main activities are: granting loans and credits to communal banks, community groups, low-income individuals; offering saving accounts, insurance policies, administration and human resources services, making payments of family remittance and granting operation with securities and other financial instruments.
