Gentera reported audited consolidated financial results for the fourth quarter and full year ended December 31, 2017. For the quarter, the company reported net interest income was MXN 4,905 million compared with MXN 5,009 million a year ago. Net interest income after provisions was MXN 3,935 million compared with MXN 3,988 million a year ago. Net operating income was MXN 448 million compared with MXN 816 million a year ago. Net income was MXN 375 million compared with MXN 540 million a year ago.
Gentera SAB de CV (Gentera), formerly Compartamos SAB de CV, is a Mexico-based financial institution specialized in banking and credit services. Genteraâs main activities are: granting loans and credits to communal banks, community groups, low-income individuals; offering saving accounts, insurance policies, administration and human resources services, making payments of family remittance and granting operation with securities and other financial instruments.
