Gentera, S.A.B. de C.V. reported consolidated earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2019. For the quarter, the company reported interest income of MXN 5,765 million compared to MXN 5,283 million a year ago. Total operating income was MXN 1,301 million compared to MXN 1,028 million a year ago. Net income was MXN 948 million compared to MXN 735 million a year ago.
For the nine months, the company reported interest income of MXN 16,803 million compared to MXN 15,412 million a year ago. Total operating income was MXN 3,498 million compared to MXN 3,143 million a year ago. Net income was MXN 2,506 million compared to MXN 2,282 million a year ago.
Gentera SAB de CV (Gentera), formerly Compartamos SAB de CV, is a Mexico-based financial institution specialized in banking and credit services. Genteraâs main activities are: granting loans and credits to communal banks, community groups, low-income individuals; offering saving accounts, insurance policies, administration and human resources services, making payments of family remittance and granting operation with securities and other financial instruments.
