A fund managed by Robus Capital Management Limited acquired an unknown majority stake in Hallhuber Beteiligungs Gmbh from GERRY WEBER International AG (DB:GWI1) for €0.5 million on July 8, 2019. Within the scope of the ongoing restructuring under self-administration, GERRY WEBER granted a purchase option to Robus Capital in February. In exchange, Robus Capital had provided a bridging loan for Hallhuber, which has since been replaced by long-term financing. According to the agreement, GERRY WEBER retains 12% stake in Hallhuber. The transaction is subject to anti-trust approval of a separate insolvency plan for GERRY WEBER International.
