He is scheduled to take up his duties on January 1st, 2023 at the latest. Dr. Magnus Ekerot succeeds Klaus Weßing (65), until now CEO and Chairman of the Executive Board of Gigaset AG, who will leave the company in the course of 2023 at the latest to retire. Dr. Ekerot, currently Senior Vice President at Bosch Security and Safety Systems, holds an MBA in strategic management and looks back on a career of more than 25 years with internationally renowned companies. Dr. Ekerot's career has focused on IT and technology. He has already held several CEO positions.
