PETAH TIKVA, Israel (AP) _ Gilat Satellite Networks Ltd. (GILT) on Monday reported a loss of $2.5 million in its first quarter.

On a per-share basis, the Petah Tikva, Israel-based company said it had a loss of 4 cents. Losses, adjusted for non-recurring costs, were 3 cents per share.

The satellite broadband communications company posted revenue of $51.4 million in the period.

Gilat expects full-year revenue in the range of $245 million to $265 million.
