Givaudan announced this morning the inauguration of its new state-of-the-art production site in Cikarang, Indonesia.

The new site represents an initial investment of 50 million Swiss francs and will cover 24,000 square meters out of a total reserved area of 50,000 square meters.

The site will focus on the production of a wide range of savory, sweet and snack powders, as well as infant nutrition solutions.

Construction has begun and is expected to be completed within 18 months, with operations scheduled to begin in the first half of 2026.

' The new Cikarang plant represents a significant investment in Indonesia, reinforcing our commitment to expanding Givaudan's industrial footprint in the Southeast Asia region. As market leaders, this expansion also enables us to seize growth opportunities through closer collaboration with our customers' said Louie D'Amico, President Taste and Wellness.
