Glanbia plc specializes in the production and commercialization of dairy, nutritional and food products for the food and pharmaceutical industries. Net sales break down by product family as follows:
- nutritional and functional ingredients (71.2%): dairy, vegetable and functional proteins, nutrients (vitamins, trace elements, minerals, etc.), nutritional supplements for children, bioactive ingredients, etc. for dairy and non-dairy products (drinks, cereal bars, snacks, sauces, animal feed, etc.). The group is also developing a cheese production activity;
- performance nutrition products (28.8; world n°1): notably sports nutrition products (Optimum Nutrition, BSN, Isopure, thinkThin, Nutramino, ABB, Body & Fit and Amazing Grass brands).
Net sales are distributed geographically as follows: Ireland (0.2%), Europe (7.7%), United States (81.7%), North America (1.7%), Asia /Pacific (6.6%), Latin America (1 .3%) and others (0.8%).
