SAN CLEMENTE, Calif. (AP) _ Glaukos Corp. (GKOS) on Thursday reported third-quarter net income of $6.2 million, after reporting a loss in the same period a year earlier.

The San Clemente, California-based company said it had profit of 13 cents per share. Losses, adjusted for non-recurring gains, came to 19 cents per share.

The results topped Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of seven analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for a loss of 23 cents per share.

The glaucoma treatments developer posted revenue of $74.7 million in the period, also topping Street forecasts. Six analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $72 million.

Glaukos expects full-year revenue in the range of $285 million to $290 million.
