Globe Telecom, Inc. announced earnings results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2019. For the second quarter, the company announced sales was PHP 4,009.277 million compared to PHP 4,704.350 million a year ago. Net income was PHP 5,315.605 million compared to PHP 5,287.095 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was PHP 38.86 compared to PHP 38.69 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share was PHP 38.75 compared to PHP 38.57 a year ago. For the half year, sales was PHP 8,642.305 million compared to PHP 9,699.785 million a year ago. Net income was PHP 12,048.186 million compared to PHP 9,971.104 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was PHP 88.36 compared to PHP 72.81 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share was PHP 88.08 compared to PHP 72.53 a year ago.
