Globe Telecom, Inc. announced earnings results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2020. For the second quarter, the company announced sales was PHP 2,081.971 million compared to PHP 4,009.277 million a year ago. Net income was PHP 4,902.619 million compared to PHP 5,315.605 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was PHP 35.73 compared to PHP 38.86 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share was PHP 35.62 compared to PHP 38.75 a year ago. For the half year, sales was PHP 6,391.349 million compared to PHP 8,642.305 million a year ago. Net income was PHP 11,483.814 million compared to PHP 12,048.186 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was PHP 84.07 compared to PHP 88.36 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share was PHP 83.77 compared to PHP 88.08 a year ago.
