Appointment of Non-Executive Director

Graphene NanoChem (AIM: GRPH), the performance nanochemicals and advanced materials company, announces that Dato' Mohamed Sallehuddin bin Othman has been appointed as a Non-Executive Director of the Company. At the same time, the Company wishes to announce that Dr. Wong Kai Fatt has resigned from a Non-Executive role at Graphene NanoChem.

Dr. Wong remained as a Director following the reverse takeover of Biofuels International in March 2013, in order to facilitate the orderly transition of the Company's business. Following the completion of the transition process, Dr. Wong has now resigned in order to pursue his other business interests.

Dato' Mohamed Sallehuddin bin Othman, a chartered accountant with an MSc from City University, London, will join the Company's Board with immediate effect. A member of the Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Malaysian Institute of Accountants, he will serve as Chairman of the Audit Committee.

Previously Sallehuddin bin Othman served as the Group Managing Director of Malaysian Industrial Development Finance Berhad ("MIDF"), one of Malaysia's leading development finance institutions, focusing on accelerating the development and modernisation of the country's manufacturing and services sectors.

Dato' Mohamed Sallehuddin bin Othman is currently Non-Executive Chairman of Cradle Fund Sdn Bhd ("Cradle"). Cradle, an agency of the Malaysian Ministry of Finance, is a not-for-profit organisation that supports and encourages the development of Malaysian entrepreneurship in high growth technology industries. In addition, Sallehuddin bin Othman sits on the Executive Boards of Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance (Malaysia) Bhd, a leading provider of general insurance solutions, and Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ (Malaysia) Berhad, a subsidiary of Japan's largest bank.
