Great Eastern Energy Corporation Ltd is engaged in exploring, developing, distributing, and marketing of coal bed methane (CBM). The Company is involved in the extraction and sale of coal bed methane (CBM)/compressed natural gas (CNG) gas in India. Its upstream operation includes a Raniganj (South) block license area covers approximately 210 square kilometers (52,500 acres), 10.62 trillion cubic feet (TCF) of Original-Gas-in-Place. It drills 300 wells in the contracted area. It has a pipeline of 77.62 km running through the heart of the Asansol-Durgapur industrial belt The Company's midstream operations include RANIGANJ (SOUTH) BLOCK, which is a Gas Gathering Station and related infrastructure all fully operational. The Company's second asset is the Mannargudi license, which is situated in the state of Tamil Nadu in India. The Mannargudi license covers an area of approximately 667 square kilometers and over 0.98 TCF of Gas-in-Place.
