ESTIMATE OF NET PROFITS

This announcement is made by Greatview Aseptic Packaging Company Limited (the "Company", together with its subsidiaries, the "Group") pursuant to the provisions of inside information under Part XIVA of the Securities and Futures Ordinance (Chapter 571 of the Laws of Hong Kong) and Rule 13.09(2) of the Rules Governing the Listing of Securities on The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited.

The board of directors (the "Board") of the Company wishes to inform the shareholders of the Company and potential investors that, based on the preliminary assessment of the latest results of the Group for the period from 1 January 2021 to 17 December 2021 (both days inclusive) (the "Period") and the information available for the time being, it is estimated that the Group will record a consolidated net profit between approximately RMB285 million to RMB300 million during the Period. The Company's consolidated net profit was approximately RMB342.8 million for the year ended 31 December 2020.

The estimated decrease in the Group's consolidated net profit for the Period is mainly caused by margin pressure arising from intensifying market and price competition; the increase in raw material cost driven by the continuous increase in commodity prices and the increase in international freight costs.

The information contained in this announcement is only based on a preliminary assessment of the latest unaudited consolidated management accounts of the Group for the Period and the information available at the current time. Such information has not been audited or reviewed by the auditors of the Company or the audit committee of the Company. The audited consolidated results of the Group for the year ending 31 December 2021 are expected to be announced by the Company by end of March 2022. If there is any material deviation in the audited consolidated results of the Group for the year ending 31 December 2021 from the Group's preliminary assessment of the latest results of the Group for the Period above, the Group will make a separate announcement as soon as practicable.
