GREE, Inc. (TSE:3632) announces a share repurchase program. Under the program, the company will repurchase 5,000,000 shares, representing 2.17% of its share capital, for ¥2,500 million. The company will repurchase its shares as part of its shareholder returns and in order to enable the implementation of a flexible capital policy in response to changes in the business environment. The program will run until September 23, 2020. As of December 31, 2019, the company had 230,613,132 shares outstanding (excluding treasury shares) and 11,636,568 shares in treasury.
