Greencoat UK Wind PLC is a United Kingdom-based renewable infrastructure fund, invested in operating United Kingdom wind farms. The Company's investment objective is to provide investors with an annual dividend that increases in line with RPI inflation while preserving the capital value of its investment portfolio in the long term on a real basis through reinvestment of excess cash flow. The Company invests solely in operating onshore and offshore United Kingdom wind farms which are producing income. It invests in United Kingdom wind farms predominantly with a capacity of over 10 megawatts (MW). Its investments outside the United Kingdom, in construction projects or in non-equity or associated debt instruments, are limited to 15% of gross asset value. Its portfolio comprises interests in approximately 49 operating wind farms totaling 1,983 MW. Its portfolio includes Andershaw, Bicker Fen, Brockaghboy, Bin Mountain and others. The Companyâs Investment Manager is Schroders Greencoat LLP.
