APPOINTMENT AND RESIGNATION OF DIRECTOR

Barra Resources Limited (ASX Code: BAR) wishes to announce the appointment of Mr Lindsay Franker as a Non?Executive Director and the resignation of Mr Mel Ashton as a Non?Executive Director.
Mr Franker (BEng - Mining, MAusIMM) is a graduate of the Western Australian School of Mines in Kalgoorlie and has over 17 years experience in mining and commodity related finance. He has worked for a number of mining companies in consultancy and operations specialising in both underground and open pit mining in Australia. Over the past decade he has worked as an investment banker with a global focus on mining projects, based out of Johannesburg and Singapore.
The Board would like to take this opportunity to welcome Mr Franker, as well thank Mr Ashton for his contribution to the Company since his appointment in January 2011.
