Public Service Concession at Boulogne-sur-Mer

On 26th February 2019, Boulogne-sur-Mer city council awarded the new public service concession of its casino to a competitor and rejected the bid presented by Numa (a subsidiary of the Group) that was the current delegate.

Upstream, the City Council had terminated for reasons of general interest, the convention of occupation of the public domain on which the casino was built by Partouche Immobilier in 2008. This agreement ran until 2035, which has imposed the Group to claim a compensation of approximately € 12 M.

The decision to award the public service concession to a competitor will also be subject to legal procedures.
