EG Funds Management Pty Ltd has agreed to acquire Quad 2, 6 Parkview Drive from Growthpoint Properties Australia (ASX:GOZ) on March 1, 2021. In a related transaction, Growthpoint Properties has also sold Quad 3, 102 Bennelong Parkway and Sydney Olympic Park to EG Funds Management Pty Ltd. The two transactions amounted AUD 66.1 million. Growthpoint expects completion to occur 20 days after the Group receives consent from the Sydney Olympic Park Authority to the assignment of the ground leases to the EG Funds Management Pty Ltd. The net proceeds from the sale will initially be used to repay debt, further strengthening of balance sheet and ensuring that we are well placed to capitalize on future opportunities.
