Cooperation between Grupa Azoty and State Higher Vocational School in Nysa
Grupa Azoty S.A. has signed a cooperation agreement with the State Higher Vocational School in Nysa. Cooperation under the agreement is to involve joint research and scientific projects, e.g. in the fields of fertilizers and energy efficiency. The school's students will be able to benefit from expert support in completing their bachelor's, engineer's and master's theses related thematically to the profile of the Company's business in Tarnów.
"So far Grupa Azoty S.A. and the State Higher Vocational School in Nysa have cooperated on individual projects. Their results proved so encouraging that we have now decided to enter into an agreement under which we can define specific objectives and requirements for both parties. I am certain that our joint activities will deliver measurable effects in the form of newly developed fertilizer formulas, enhanced efficiency of production processes and well-educated future staff for companies of the Grupa Azoty Group," said Zbigniew Paprocki, Member of the Management Board, Director General of Grupa Azoty S.A.
Apart from R&D support for the fertilizer area, the cooperation between Grupa Azoty S.A. and the State Higher Vocational School in Nysa will involve circular economy solutions, as one of the key goals stipulated by the European Green Deal.
"With this agreement we are continuing our cooperation which dates back to 1997, when I performed my first work for Grupa Azoty in Tarnów," commentedProf. Przemysław Malinowski, Rector of the State Higher Vocational School in Nysa."The agreement signed with Grupa Azoty is an opportunity for our students to learn and benefit from the experience of top fertilizer and chemical experts," added Przemysław Malinowski.
