Grupo Comercial Chedraui, S.A.B. de C.V. announced parent and consolidated earnings results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2015. For the quarter, on the parent basis, the company reported sales of MXN 19,098,404,000 against MXN 17,199,655,000 a year ago. Operating income was MXN 946,438,000 against MXN 859,124,000 a year ago. EBITDA was MXN 1,262,521,000 against MXN 1,165,391,000 a year ago. Income before taxes was MXN 570,731,000 against MXN 653,788,000 a year ago. Consolidated net income was MXN 388,097,000 against MXN 457,652,000 a year ago.
For the quarter, on the consolidated basis, the company reported sales of MXN 37,394,245,000 against MXN 33,900,668,000 a year ago. Operating income was MXN 1,873,815,000 against MXN 1,689,259,000 a year ago. EBITDA was MXN 2,502,615,000 against MXN 2,310,814,000 a year ago. Income before taxes was MXN 1,274,616,000 against MXN 1,262,907,000 a year ago. Consolidated net income was MXN 861,616,000 against MXN 884,035,000 a year ago. Flows used in operating activities was MXN 2,795,741,000 against MXN 2,365,456,000 a year ago. Purchase of property and equipment was MXN 701,249,000 against MXN 1,506,405,000 a year ago. Intangible assets, advances and other was MXN 29,495,000 against MXN 52,153,000 a year ago. CAPEX invested from January to June 2015 totaled MXN 1,445 million.
